1. Installation location and environment
Location selection: The installation position of the water pump set should meet the requirement of allowing the suction to reach a high vacuum height, while ensuring that the foundation is level and stable to avoid vibration during unit operation.
Environmental requirements: The water pump set should be installed in a well ventilated, dry, and non corrosive gas environment, avoiding direct sunlight and rain.
2. Power mechanical connection
Rotation direction: Ensure that the rotation direction of the power machiner is consistent with the rotation direction of the water pump to prevent reverse rotation during unit operation.
Axis alignment: When the water pump and power machine are connected by a shaft, it is necessary to ensure that the axis is on the same straight line to prevent vibration and single-sided bearing wear during unit operation. If tape transmission is used, the axis should be parallel to each other and the tape wheel should be aligned.
3. Pipeline connection
Sealing: The suction pipe of the water pump set must be well sealed, minimizing bends and gate valves to reduce resistance and prevent air leakage.
Exhale air: When adding water, the air should be completely expelled, and there should be no accumulation of air in the pipe during operation to ensure that the water pump can absorb water normally.
Inlet setting: The suction pipe should be slightly inclined upwards and connected to the inlet of the water pump. The inlet should have a certain submergence depth to ensure that the water pump can continue to absorb water.
4. Unit spacing and reserved holes
Unit spacing: If there are multiple units in the same computer room, there should be sufficient distance (such as 800mm or more) between units, between units and walls, and between units and walls to facilitate operation and maintenance.
Reserved holes: The reserved holes on the foundation of the water pump should be poured according to the size of the water pump to ensure a stable installation of the water pump.
5. Power Supply and Electrical Safety
Power Supply Voltage : Check if the power supply voltage meets the requirements of the water pump to avoid insufficient pump speed caused by unstable or low voltage.
Electrical safety: Ensure correct and reliable connection of electrical circuits, good grounding, and prevent electrical accidents.
6. Operation and maintenance
Trial operation: After installation, a trial operation should be carried out to check the operation of the water pump and ensure that there are no abnormal vibrations, noises, or leaks.
Regular maintenance: Regularly maintain the water pump, including cleaning the filter screen, checking the seals, lubricating the bearings, etc., to extend the service life of the water pump.
